My Daughter Lilly has Ewings Sarcoma

My 10 year old daughter Lilly was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma of the left femur May 7 th 2009.. After about 4 months of what we thought was growing pains Lilly began a journey that she never would have chosen.
Lilly was extremely active. She danced 4 days a week with a dance troupe and also played travel soccer. She swam competitively for camp and was the fastest kid in her fourth grade class.
She was the organizer of games in the play yard and bell of the ball at school.
She had constant energy and had not been sick since she was 3 years old.
Lilly is adopted and is of Mexican descent.She is petite,beautiful,kind ,funny ,competitive and bright.
She is my heart. She is my second child . She has a brother Andre who is 14 and also adopted.
Her dad and my husbands name is Brian .
After many years of infertility we were given two beautiful children by the GRACE of God. I now know that Lilly was specifically given to us.. so that we could take this journey with her and cure her cancer. I have always knew I was a strong person by my real test has just begun.
I am a working mother,I am an adoptive mother.i am a mother of a child with cancer. The first two I chose... the last I did not.
This will be a blog from a mommy of a child with CANCER.. Ewing's Sarcoma only 200 cases diagnosed a year...
How did she win this backwards lottery?????
